My fiction titles for kids – 5-10 year olds
Meeting one of New Zealand’s most well know authors, Joy Cowley, catapulted Justin into writing books for children. Together they collaborated on the The Signature Series which included The Jones Mob Trio, Mike Cool-As-You-Like and William’s Wheel of Sport. You won’t find these books in shops, but make sure you ask your local lovely librarian for a copy!
Next came Justin’s novel for 6-12 year olds. Shot, Boom, Score! (Allen & Unwin) won a Storylines Notable Book Award and became a Treasure Chest Audio Book on Radio New Zealand. You can listen here.
Justin’s surname is Brown, however he now writes children as Justin Christopher – find his website here!
His novels for kids include Freakout Island, The Underers, My Best Worst Year, and Stowaway Daze. Most recently he released two hilarious picture books for younger kids – Nanas With No Manners and My Dog Ate The Bathroom!
